Have you been diagnosed with an Immunological Disease?

An autoimmune disease occurs when a patient’s immune system cannot differentiate between healthy and harmful substances. This causes an overactive immune response and the body attacks its own healthy cells resulting in chronic inflammation.

The regenerative effect of a stem cell therapy on immunological conditions is based on the own immune-regulatory effect of the stem cells. These are some common autoimmune conditions that we treat with cellular therapies:

Skin/joints Conditions

  • Psoriasis
  • Vitiligo
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

Glands Conditions

  • Grave’s Diseases
  • Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
  • Diabetes Mellitus

Bowel/Pelvic Conditions

  • Inflammatory Disease
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Endometriosis
  • Testicular Dystrophy

Nerves/Muscles Conditions

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Guillain-Barre Syndrome
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Reynaud’s Disease
  • Myasthenia Gravis

Generalized Body Conditions

  • Lupus Erythematous (SLE)
  • Sjogren’s Disease
  • Vasculitis

IMMUNE DISEASE

Overview – The Body attacks its own healthy cells

An autoimmune disease occurs when a patient’s immune system cannot differentiate between healthy and harmful substances. This causes an overactive immune response and the body attacks its own healthy cells resulting in chronic inflammation and damage to areas of the body. It is not known what causes an autoimmune disease. Researchers have identified over 80-100 autoimmune diseases and suspect at least 40 additional diseases of having autoimmune basis.

IMMUNOLOGICAL DISEASE SAMPLE  – RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

How is Rheumatoid Arthritis working against you?

In Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks the joints creating inflammation that causes the tissue lining inside of joints to thicken resulting in swelling and pain. Over time, there is loss of cartilage and the joint spacing between bones gets smaller. Joints become painful and lose their mobility. RA most commonly affects the joints of the hands, feet, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles.

How can stem cell therapy work for you?

The regenerative effect of cellular therapy on immunological conditions is based on the immune-regulatory effect of the transplanted stem cells. The final effect is reduction of inflammation, reduction of pain, and improvement of the quality of life of the patients. Secondarily to the regulation of the immune response patients will see their usual pain and inflammation “flares” dissipate. The ultimate effect of the stem cell therapy is remission of symptoms for indefinite time.

TREATMENT: For patients with RA, the stem cells are harvested from their own bone marrow and adipose (fat) tissue. An RA condition in its early stage would include a primary (fresh) bone marrow and adipose derived stromal/stem cells, growth factors and proteins; necessary to rebuild damaged tissue. An advanced condition would require the application of culture expanded adipose derived stem cells, or the combination of both primary and cultured stem cells.
